Boosterthon

We’re kicking off our fundraising efforts early this year, with Boosterthon Fun Runs on August 19th (Track 2) and August 31st (Tracks 1, 3 and 4). With our sights set on raising funds for technology updates and C Space enhancements, we’ve established a goal of $30,000 for this fundraiser (last year, our school earned nearly $39,000 through  Boosterthon).

Scholastic Book Fair

The PTA will once again host the Scholastic Book Fair, with all earnings going toward new books for our school. The book fair will be held February 27th through March 10th, 2017. More details to come!

Wallypalooza and Silent Auction

The funnest of our fundraisers, Wallypalooza, will be held Friday, April 21st, 2017. This annual spring festival features games, face painting, a pie throw, a cake walk, a photo booth, game truck and, of course, our ever-popular basket raffle and silent auction.

Box Tops for Education

Each year, our school collects Box Tops, which can be found on hundreds of items. Box Tops are worth at least 10¢ each (when redeemed through the Box Tops for Education program). This school year (2016-2017), our goal is to raise $3,000!

Please clip Box Tops from participating products and have your child submit them to his/her classroom teacher in a baggie marked with your child’s name, teacher’s name, and track #.

Also, sign up to support our school at boxtops4education.com, where you can see how much our school is earning, enter online promotions for chances to win Bonus Box Tops and other prizes, and print coupons for your favorite Box Tops brands.

Link Your Store Cards

Many retailers allow shoppers to link loyalty cards to their choice of schools nationwide. The stores in turn make cash donations to designated schools.

Please take a moment to connect your store cards to West Lake Elementary School using the links below – then invite your family, friends and neighbors to do the same! PTA membership is not required; anyone can do it. We’ll receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase. This ‘found money’ really adds up for our school!

Participating programs include:

Harris Teeter TIE

Harris Teeter Together in Education

During the 2015-2016 school year, West Lake Elementary earned almost $1,000 from this program. Learn more here.
