*Principal Input Session for Parents*
Thursday, March 8 · 6:00 PM at West Lake Elementary School
Southwestern area superintendent Julye Mizelle wants your input on the next principal of West Lake Elementary! In this session, parents are asked to share the qualities (skills, traits, personality and characteristics) they would like to see in our next principal. Information gathered from this session will help the district build a profile for the next principal of West Lake Elementary.

- Congratulations and best wishes to Chell Smith in her new role as principal of Wake Forest Elementary School. As the district searches for a replacement, our interim principal beginning March 1 will be retired school administrator Charles Langley.
Spirit Days Schedule for 2012
Show your school spirit by dressing in the theme, school spirit wear or school colors (teal, orange or yellow). Prizes will be given to the class with the most participation! Prizes to be determined: popsicles, cupcakes, pencils, prize from toy chest, etc.
- March 2: Wear your favorite team’s jersey or outfit, or Spirit Wear or school colors.
- March 30: Spirit Wear or school colors.
- April. 27: Spirit Wear or school colors.
- May 25: Spirit Wear or school colors.
